Introduction of the College

Government Degree College Baldwara was established in 2014 with the H.P. Government Notification No. EDN-A-Ka (1)/2014 dated Feb 24, 2014 with a view to fulfill the educational needs of rural boys and girls. Initially, this college started functioning in the premises of Government Senior Secondary School Baldwara and was shifted to its own majestic building on August 28, 2020. The College is well-linked with roads and is having a peaceful environment for studies. The college is situated at Kohni about 1Km from Baldwara town, towards north on Ghumarwin – SarkaghatState Highway.

At present the college offers courses in Humanities, languages and Commerce. The subjects being offered for studies are English, Hindi, Economics, History, Political Science, Mathematics, Sociology, Music (Vocal) and Commerce. science courses are also started since 2022
