Procedure for submitting Complaint
College follows the guidelines of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and UGC regulations. An Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and committee for Prevention of Women Harassment at workplace are constituted to handle such cases.
There is also a complaint box installed inside the college campus, any aggrieved woman student, employee, or visitor can submit a written complaint to the committee. On receiving the complaint, committee ensures confidentiality and may attempt conciliation if requested by the complainant.
If conciliation fails or is not opted for, the ICC conducts a fair and impartial inquiry, giving both parties an opportunity to be heard. Based on the findings, the committee submits its recommendations to the college authorities, which may include disciplinary action against the respondent and support measures for the complainant for ensuring a safe and harassment-free campus environment.
